Gems of November!

Sunday, 2 December 2012
Yes guys & dolls, it's that time of the month again!
With all the hype of it being December and the excitement of Christmas looming, November all but flew out of my mind as a thing of the past.
However, all is not lost as by some stroke of sheer luck, I remembered!
So without further ado...

Big massive yes's go to;
1. Starlytes Vanilla Créme candle.
I've been raving about this candle for the past couple of weeks, I love it. Unconditionally. I recently went to Poundworld where they stock these in bigger jars and picked up a couple. They'd make great stocking fillers and they smell so damn good. Click here for a full review.

2. Hask Argan Oil
It's the Moroccan Oil from Primark that has received some favourable reviews. I'm not seeing any miracles, but it does leave my hair feeling silky and soft.

3. MUA Undressed Palette.
This palette has been dubbed the '£4 UD Naked Palette', and with claims like that, you can't really go wrong. The shadows are soft and smooth and glide on like a dream. I've not worn the shadows much this month, but the few times I have I've had spectacular results.

4. MUA Eyeshadow Shade 20
I don't even know if I should put this separate from the MUA palette as I always use the two together, but why the hell not ay! I adore this matte, black shadow. It's opaque and as buildable as bricks and worn with a primer it lasts aaaall day long. All this awesomeness for £1, why isn't it in your favourites? ;)

5. No7 Stay Perfect Foundation
Let me tell you, the No7 colour match technology is amazing. The shade I'm in (Walnut) is an exact perfect match to my skin. Stay Perfect is a medium to full coverage foundation with a semi matte finish that apparently lasts up to 19hours. Although to be honest, as long as it lasts at least 6hours, I'm sold. It packs a punch at £14 - to my student purse anyway - but it's been a God send, so I'm not complaining.

6. Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel Cream
Again, I'm being boring everyone's faces off with this lip butter, but I lurrrve it. It seriously is the bomb dot com. I don't know what I can say about that I haven't already. It's fabulous.

7. Body Shop Mango Body Mist
I've been loving this fragrance all month. It's sweet and fruity without being cloying or overpowering. It's more of a summery spray and I will definitely be wearing it next summer, but it's been my reach for fragrance this month too! It doesn't even smell that strongly of mangoes. It's refreshingly sweet, if that even makes sense. I dunno, but it's amazing.

8. Twinings Orange, Mango & Cinnamon Tea
I love tea. I'm a tea whore. Not hoarder, whore. This tea tastes like Christmas. No joke. It's citrus and sweetness and subtle spice all rolled into one festive party on your tongue. As far as I know, it's part of the permanent line, so there's none of that Limited Edition ball ache to deal with. Though having said that, I will only drink/purchase this during the colder months - as I have been - because it's got such a delicious, festive, heart-warming flavour that I'm in love with.

9. Tesco Gingerbread Men
THANK YOU TESCO! I've been munching these badboys aaaall month. They're the hard, crunchy type that go deliciously chewy if you dunk them in a cup of tea. I'm not one for calorie counting or anything but for anyone who's curious; each bloke contains a measly 44 calories and 0.5g of saturated fat. Once again, THANK YOU TESCO! They're a little more weighty on the sugar side, with 4.8g per biscuit, but don't nobody care. These guys are deliciously moreish, with a really delicate ginger flavour. It's a good job they're only £1 because I go through far too many bags of these!

Aaaaaand, that concludes my November faves!
What items have had you thanking the Gods of makeup, beauty, food etc?
Thanks for reading, beautiful!

    1. Hi Stacey! Thanks for following :) It's a nifty little product that has saved my dry hair. I haven't seen any lasting results on the ends of my hair, but for £2.50 it really is worth trying out. The small bottle is great for travelling as well, the lid is sturdier than you might think! Good luck if you do try it out! :) xx
